A Piece of Everyday Culture Makes for Great Collectible Art

Collectible art can be found virtually anywhere. As such, it can be a daunting task when a collector is looking for a new type of collectible art to add to his or her collection.

Sometimes the most interesting and valuable things come from a part of everyday life. The Coca Cola brand has been manufacturing popular soft drinks for over a hundred years, and the collectible art associated with Coca Cola is proving to be a great investment for collectors.

The Many Types of Coca Cola Collectible Art

Coca Cola may have started as a soft drink, but it has expanded into a collectible art empire. Collectors love collecting coca cola collectible art because it is not only beautiful, but a great source of entertainment as well.

Perhaps the most famous types of Coca Cola collectible art are the ones that were designed for Christmas. The image of Santa Claus enjoying an ice cold bottle of Coca Cola has become the subject of Christmas ornaments, jigsaw puzzles, cookie jars, and figurines.

For the Coca Cola Collectors with especially large homes, another popular type of Coca Cola collectible art is furniture. Retro dining tables, barstools, diner booths, and soda shop sets are just some of the Coca Cola furniture options that collectors have to choose from. Collectors should be aware, however, that Coca Cola furniture generally costs something in the range of a thousand dollars or more.

As with many other types of collectible art, there are pieces that some collectors may buy thinking that they are valuable, but are in fact worthless because they were not endorsed by Coca Cola. Two examples of these are Army & Navy free drink tokens, as well as free drink tokens.

For those who have already amassed an impressive collection of Coca Cola collectible art, there are several ways to judge what a particular item might be worth. The first thing would be to check online price guides or auctions, and take an average of the results. The second, and perhaps more reliable indicator would be to find an appraiser and submit the item in question for a price inspection.

Beautiful and entertaining at the same time, Coca Cola objects make for unique collectible art. Regardless of the price, collecting Coca Cola art items is a wonderful hobby, the results of which can be passed down to future generations.
